    Ambazone monohydrate, 10 mg

Faringosept is an effective OTC for inflammation and sore throat with antiseptic action. It treats the infection by stopping the development of pathogenic bacteria, thus inhibiting the development of the disease and accelerating the healing of the irritated throat. A safe and reliable drug for the whole family.

WHAT DOES FARINGOSEPT CONTAIN AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Faringosept is the only drug in Poland containing Ambazone monohydrate, an active substance that acts:

    • antibacterial
    • antifungal
    • and disinfects

Ambazone1(Ambazone monohydrate) is one of the earliest known and tested antimicrobial substances. The first studies were initiated in 1935, and the drug itself was invented in 1955 to become the basis of all antibacterial sulfonamides.

Ambazone is indicated for acute infections of the mouth and throat such as: pharyngitis, gingivitis, stomatitis, angina and in postoperative care after tonsillectomy.

    FARINGOSEPT – PROVEN EFFECTIVENESS

    FARINGOSEPT acts as an antiseptic

    acts causally on a wide
    range of bacteria and fungi1

thereby inhibiting the development of inflammation,
the symptoms of which include pain

    and accelerates the healing
    of irritated throat

FARINGOSEPT, thanks to Ambazone monohydrate, works on

    92% of pathogenic bacterial

strains that may be involved in infections of the mouth and throat.

    Including: streptococci, pneumococci and staphylococci.2,3

Faringosept inhibits the development of inflammation in the mouth and throat.

    WHEN IS FARINGOSEPT RECOMMENDED?

Faringosept is an effective medicine for infections in adults and children, characterized by fever, runny nose, dry cough and sore throat. The medicine is indicated for use:

in acute infections of the mouth and throat such as:

    • tonsillitis
    • gingivitis
    • stomatitis

    and also:

    • in postoperative care after tonsillectomy
    • after tooth extraction
    • in the treatment of thrush and fungal infections of the mouth and throat

    Faringosept also provides support:

    • in antibiotic therapy, because it prevents the development of bacteria and fungi
    • in viral infections, especially recurrent ones, which are often accompanied by bacterial superinfection

Faringosept works from the first symptoms of infection!

Faringosept treats the causes of bacterial throat infection, inhibiting the development of inflammation, one of the symptoms of which may be severe pain. The drug is best used immediately, as soon as the first symptoms of the disease appear.

So, if you have the impression that “something is taking over you”, it is time to take Faringosept. If you react quickly, the throat infection will not have a chance to develop.

    Faringosept together with antibiotics

Due to its antiseptic effect, the drug is a support in antibiotic therapy used in bacterial infections. Faringosept used together with antibiotics has a local antibacterial effect.

Ambazone monohydrate, contained in Faringosept, works on 92% of pathogenic bacteria strains that may be involved in sore throat. In this case, it works on: streptococci, pneumococci and staphylococci.2,3

However, unlike antibiotics, Faringosept is as effective as with each previous administration, because the risk of developing acquired resistance is negligible.

    Faringosept in viral infections

Bacterial infections are very often a complication of viral infections. We then say that a viral infection has superinfected.

The virus weakens the immune system, and then bacteria that are usually harmless to the body can become the cause of another disease, this time on a bacterial background. So if the disease does not go away after a few days, and its symptoms actually intensify, it may mean that a bacterial attack has occurred. Therefore, even with an “ordinary” cold, it is worth using Faringosept as a support.

Remember, it is important to monitor the symptoms and, if necessary, consult a doctor, especially if the symptoms intensify or persist for a longer period of time.

Make sure to take care of rest, proper diet and immune support at every opportunity, especially if you feel weak!

    Worth to know!

Faringosept is characterized by very high effectiveness in bacterial infections such as tonsillitis or infections caused by sudden changes in temperature, e.g. air conditioning, ice cream, cold drinks, etc.
